The town of Westwood is located 12 miles southwest of Boston. It is conveniently located of off Interstate 95/128 and Route 109. Two commuter rail stops and full MBTA bus service on Routes 1 and 1A.
In 2005 the town was ranked #13 for “100 Best Place To Live” according to CNN Money & Money Magazine and is the 28th wealthiest city in Massachusetts. Westwood is recognized for its quality of schools. Students consistently score in the top percentile of national tests.
Westwood is in close proximity to Legacy Place. Residents can spend the day shopping or enjoy an evening of entertainment at King’s of Dedham or the Cinema de Lux Legacy Place. The town maintains is parks and recreational facilities including conservation land, playgrounds and indoor pool facility.
